About the university

{On September 6, 2022, Central Asian Medical University received License No. 037700 from the State Inspectorate for Quality Control in Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The university offers education in three medical fields: General Medicine (6 years), Dentistry (5 years), and Pediatrics (6 years).
Currently, approximately 2,538 students are enrolled in these programs, including 173 international students. The academic process is based on the ECTS credit-module system.
More than 30 doctors and candidates of science are involved in the teaching process. The curriculum is designed to ensure in-depth acquisition of medical knowledge and complies with international educational standards recognized by leading academic institutions.
With an investment of USD 25 million, N. Mamasadiqov founded the "Central Asian Medical University" on the basis of the "Meridian Diagnostic Hospital" LLC, creating over 100 new jobs.
To establish the university, the following resources were procured: an interactive anatomical table "Pirogov" from the Russian Federation worth 1 billion UZS, educational literature worth 200 million UZS from Uzbekistan and Russia, mannequins and phantoms worth 250 million UZS from China, technical equipment including computers and smart boards worth 300 million UZS from China, and laboratory equipment worth 250 million UZS from Russia.
A four-story building located at 24 Sanoat Street, Fergana City, was fully renovated and put into operation, with 3 billion UZS allocated for this purpose.}

International cooperation is an integral part of Central Asian Medical University (CAMU) as a globally-oriented educational institution.     "Study of the mechanical properties and biocompatibility of CoCr-based medical materials after thermal and electrochemical treatment."
    Plans include the development of heart stents using new technologies, with animal testing currently underway.

  • Active cooperation in education, science, and culture with:

    • Belarusian State Medical University,

    • Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University,

    • Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University — involving student mobility programs and joint research by faculty.

  • Joint liver transplant projects are being implemented with Apollo Hospital (India).

🇬🇧 Important Meeting Held within the Framework of International Cooperation An official meeting was held with the participation of the Minister of Health Asilbek Anvarovich Xudayarov, General Director of the German company MedCare24 GmbH Yevgeniy Polyanovskiy, Founder of Germany Medical Institute Olga Engelmann, Head of the Research Group of the University Hospital of Freiburg Irina Nazarenko, and Rector of Central Asian Medical University Nurillo Shukrullayevich Mamasadikov. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to improving the quality of medical education, organizing international clinical practice, developing scientific research activities, and implementing student and faculty exchange programs. Short-term Professional Development Courses Started at the Academy 🧊 Today, at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, short-term professional development courses on the topic “State and Religion Relations and Ongoing Reforms in the Religious-Educational Sphere in the New Uzbekistan” have started. 🧊 These courses are organized for the first vice-rectors for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work of higher education institutions in our country. 🧊 The event was attended by representatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, non-governmental organizations, the Deputy Advisor on Religion and Youth Affairs, the Rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Kamilov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs Davronbek Maxsudov, and the Director of the Institute for Professional Development and Retraining in the Religious-Educational Sphere Husniddin Ahmedov. 🧊 At the courses, the Academy’s Rector Muzaffar Kamilov gave a lecture on “State and Religion Relations and Ongoing Reforms in the Religious-Educational Sphere in the New Uzbekistan.” 🧊 The lecture covered the recent efforts in our country regarding religious-educational initiatives, interethnic harmony, and religious tolerance. 🧊 During the lecture, special attention was given to the historic speech of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly on September 20, 2017. 🧊 In this speech, proposals were presented regarding the adoption of international documents addressing urgent global issues. 🧊 On December 12, 2018, the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, during its 51st meeting, adopted the resolution “Enlightenment and Religious Tolerance” unanimously by 193 member states.
