{In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 4, 2019 No. PQ-4350 “On the establishment of a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Higher Education of the National Research University “MEI” in Tashkent”, the purpose of the project is to further improve the system of training highly qualified engineering and technical personnel for the energy sector of the Republic, expand international cooperation in the field of higher education, train highly qualified engineering and technical personnel in accordance with international requirements for the quality of educational programs and higher education for the energy sector of our country, develop and implement modern educational programs and forms of training, introduce advanced pedagogical and information technologies, the latest achievements of science and technology into the educational process, support the development of educational and pedagogical potential, conduct fundamental, applied scientific and innovative research in the field of energy, electrical engineering, heat engineering, increase the efficiency of the use of electrical equipment and systems, and increase the economy, reliability and stability of electric power systems. In order to develop and implement innovative projects, improve the quality, continuity and coherence of science and education, improve the system of training specialists and scientific and pedagogical personnel through targeted integration into the world education and scientific community, create conditions for the harmonious integration of education, research and industrial production activities, and develop and strengthen long-term relations with leading educational institutions and research centers of foreign countries in the fields of education and science and technology, a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Higher Education "MEI" National Research University" was established in Tashkent.}
