Russian teacher education in Tashkent

The Tashkent branch of Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia was established in 2020. It prepares specialists in education, psychology and work with children. Bachelor’s and master’s programmes are taught in Russian.

Teaching involves faculty from Herzen University and specialists from Uzbekistan. Academic study is complemented by scientific and cultural events.

Studying and living on campus

The campus has classrooms, laboratories, a library, a dining hall, sports areas and a medical room. Students have access to the parent university’s information resources.

Cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan

The branch develops joint educational and scientific projects. Its official report for 2025 names Namangan State Pedagogical Institute and the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan among its partners.
