- One credit equals 30 academic hours.
- A student's weekly classroom workload is up to 32 hours.
- When developing the working curriculum based on the study plan, the volume of the study block may be changed by up to 5%, and the volume of subjects within the blocks by up to 10%, while maintaining the total weekly workload of students. It is also allowed to freely determine the weekly workload in certain semesters while maintaining the total classroom workload.
- At least one academic group should be formed for elective specialization subjects. The number of elective specialization subjects offered must not exceed three. Depending on the nature of the subjects, lecture, practical, seminar, and laboratory hours are selected.
- The 5th and 6th semesters follow a 4+2 format: 4 weeks of theoretical and practical training and 2 weeks of pedagogical practice.
- Changes to elective specialization subjects may be made by the decision of the University Council, taking into account the requirements of employers. The course "Foreign Languages for Professional Purposes (ECTS)" must be included as a compulsory elective subject.
- Practical and laboratory sessions for professional subjects included in the curriculum are conducted both at the higher education institution and at base organizations or enterprises.
- To ensure the integration of theory and practice, students’ qualification internships are carried out at base organizations or enterprises.
- The duration of the final state certification includes the defense of the graduation qualification work (thesis).
- For students not recommended for the defense of their graduation qualification work, a special course is organized based on core subjects, and the state examination is administered on that special course.
