About the programme
The Master’s program in Textual Studies and Literary Source Studies: Uzbek Language is aimed at advanced study of Uzbek literary heritage, written sources, manuscripts, text analysis, textual history, and the scholarly examination and preparation of literary sources for publication. During the program, students develop skills in analysing literary and academic texts, comparative study of sources, annotation, editing, conducting research, and preserving and promoting literary heritage.
Graduates of this program may work in higher education institutions, research institutes, publishing houses, libraries, archives, manuscript collections, cultural and educational institutions. The program is designed to train highly qualified specialists with advanced knowledge of the Uzbek language and literature, the ability to analyse written sources on a scholarly basis, and the competence to study literary heritage and prepare texts for publication.
