One credit equals 30 academic hours.

A student’s weekly classroom workload is up to 32 hours.

When developing a working curriculum based on the academic plan, it is permitted to modify the volume of subject blocks by up to 5% and the volume of subjects within blocks by up to 10%, while maintaining the total weekly student workload. Provided that the total classroom workload remains unchanged, weekly workloads in individual semesters may be distributed flexibly.

Specialization elective courses are taught provided that at least one academic group is formed. The number of elective courses offered must not exceed three. Depending on the nature of the subject, lecture, practical, seminar, and laboratory hours are determined.

Semesters 5–6 are organized in a 4+2 format: 4 weeks of theoretical and practical instruction and 2 weeks of pedagogical practice.

Amendments to specialization elective courses may be introduced by decision of the University Academic Council, taking into account the requirements of employers. The course “Foreign Language in the Professional Field (ECTS)” is mandatory within the elective component.

Practical classes and laboratory work for specialization subjects are conducted at the higher education institution as well as at affiliated organizations and enterprises.

To ensure the integration of theory and practice, students’ qualification internships are conducted at affiliated organizations and enterprises.

The period of the final state attestation includes the defense of the graduation qualification work.

For students not recommended for the defense of the graduation qualification work, a special course in core subjects is organized, followed by a state examination in this course.
