About the programme
Information about the joint Uzbek-Belarusian Faculty
of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism
In 2019, the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports (Uz GUFKS) signed an agreement with the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture (BSUFC) on the establishment of a joint faculty (Resolution of the CM of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PK-574 - 07/12/2019 "On measures to organize joint faculties of foreign higher educational institutions in the structure of Uz GUFKS"; Cooperation Agreement – December 4, 2018; Additional Agreement No. 2 – March 12, 2019, Additional Agreement No. 9 – October 27, 2023).
Starting from the 2019/2020 academic year, university students study at the Uzbek-Belarusian Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism under joint educational programs (SOP).
Admission is carried out upon approval of a number of documents with the partner university (Resolution of the CM of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 421 - 07/6/2021 "On approval of the Regulations on the procedure for organizing educational activities based on joint educational programs of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and foreign partners", Agreement No. 03-24 "On the procedure for organizing the educational process within the framework of joint educational programs between Uz GUFKS and BGUFC").
Entrance tests for applicants of the master's degree specialty: 71010301 "Sports activity (by type of activity)" / 7-06 – 1012 – 01 "Physical education and sports. Specialization: Sports and educational activities":
Stage I – the subject "Theory and methodology of physical education"
Stage II – the subject "Russian language" – testing – with the direct organization of the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan
The language of education is Russian.
The educational process is carried out according to the 1+1 Program:
Master's degree students in the 1st year study in the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Uz GUFKS.
In the 2nd year, they continue their studies in the Republic of Belarus at the BSUFC.
Graduates have the opportunity, upon successful completion of the State certification (master's thesis defense), to receive 2 state diplomas: Uz GUFKS and partner university - BSUFC.
