Special Pedagogy (Speech Therapy) (Bachelor's Degree)

The Special Pedagogy (Speech Therapy) program at Alfraganus University provides students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills in identifying, assessing, correcting, and rehabilitating speech disorders and supporting children with special educational needs. The curriculum integrates special pedagogy, speech therapy, psychology, and modern corrective teaching methods to prepare qualified specialists.

Core Subjects: Special Pedagogy, Speech Therapy, Psychology of Speech Development, Anatomy and Physiology, Psychology, Inclusive Education, Diagnosis of Speech Disorders, Speech Therapy Correction Methods, Fundamentals of Defectology, Pedagogical Diagnostics, Information and Communication Technologies, and Professional Ethics.

Teaching practice is an essential part of the program. Students complete internships in special schools, inclusive education institutions, speech therapy centers, rehabilitation centers, and preschool education institutions.

Graduates are qualified to work as speech therapists, special education teachers, defectologists, and educational specialists in special and inclusive education institutions, rehabilitation centers, and medical-psychological-pedagogical service organizations.

The program emphasizes professional competencies in diagnostics, corrective pedagogy, speech therapy, inclusive education, and child-centered educational approaches.
