The programme covers the set of professional fields related to mastering general, developmental and educational psychology, social psychology, personality psychology, psychodiagnostics and psychological counselling, applied psychology, psychocorrection, as well as experimental psychology and methods of statistical analysis, together with the scientific study of the human psyche and behaviour and the provision of psychological support. Graduates may work as psychologists in preschool, general secondary and specialised secondary education institutions and in higher education institutions, as organisational psychologists and HR specialists in the personnel departments of state and non-state enterprises, as practising psychologists in healthcare, social protection, internal affairs and emergency service institutions, as specialists in psychological counselling and rehabilitation centres, and at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and sectoral research institutes.
