Philology and Language Teaching: Russian Language
About the programme
Within the framework of this educational program, students study Russian with an emphasis on the formation of communicative competencies, including linguistic, pragmatic, sociolinguistic and strategic competencies, as well as the development of pedagogical skills. The program is aimed at developing competent and effective oral and written speech, developing critical thinking and the ability to express thoughts in a reasoned manner.
In addition, students study Russian literature by analyzing works from the perspective of modern literary theories, including discourse analysis, text interpretation and other methods of critical analysis, which allows for a deeper understanding of the cultural and historical context.
The program also provides for the study of a second foreign language – English, Arabic or another of your choice, which expands the linguistic capabilities of graduates and increases their competitiveness in the international labor market, including the prospect of employment abroad.
The program trains specialists capable of working in the fields of teaching, translation, international relations, diplomacy, tourism and media, providing a high level of professional training and a confident command of the Russian language in both academic and practical activities.
