Philology and language teaching: Arabic language

Within the framework of this educational program, students study Arabic with an emphasis on the formation of communicative competencies, including linguistic, pragmatic, sociolinguistic and strategic competencies, as well as the development of pedagogical skills. The program is aimed at developing competent and effective oral and written speech, developing critical thinking and the ability to express thoughts in a reasoned manner. Students master the grammar, vocabulary, phonetics and stylistics of the Arabic language, which allows them to apply the language in practical activities, including business communication, diplomatic relations, cultural, social and scientific spheres. In addition, the program includes the study of literature from the Arab world, the analysis of literary works using modern literary approaches, including discourse analysis, text interpretation and methods of critical analysis, which allows for a deeper understanding of the cultural and historical context. The program also focuses on the development of teaching skills. Students study the methodology of teaching Arabic, which allows them to work effectively with students, develop educational materials, organize the educational process and apply modern approaches to language teaching. Graduates of the program are ready for professional work in the fields of translation, pedagogy, international relations, diplomacy and the media. They gain a high level of language skills and become competitive in the international labor market.
