This educational program provides the study of the activities of cultural, educational, and scientific institutions, namely information and library institutions, which ensure public access to printed, manuscript, and electronic resources for the population in today's developed society.

You will learn that these institutions are cultural, educational, and scientific organizations that provide public access to printed and certain manuscript works. At the same time, these institutions regularly engage in collecting, preserving, creating, promoting, and delivering printed and electronic publications to readers, as well as conducting information and bibliographic activities. They contribute to raising the cultural level of society and are considered one of the most essential sectors in modern society. You should understand this and be informed about all sources related to this field.

During 4 years of study in the “Library and Information Activities” program, you will acquire numerous theoretical and practical skills. Alongside other disciplines, you will study information technologies introduced into library science as one of the newest and most necessary subjects. This will help you achieve your educational goals.

Within this educational program, over 8 semesters (4 years), you will need to accumulate a total of 240 credits. Including: total classroom hours – 6480 hours, professional internship – 600 hours, final state certification – 120 hours, graduation qualification work – 0 hours.

1 credit equals 30 academic hours.
To ensure the integration of theory and practice, professional internships are conducted in organizations and enterprises.
Student assessment is carried out based on regulations developed in accordance with the credit system.
