The professional bachelor's study program Information Systems provides professional education in computer science as an academic, programmer and systems analyst in accordance with the requirements of modern society for highly qualified specialists in the field of computer science, ensures the acquisition of fundamental and theoretical foundations of the industry and prepares for further studies in a professional master's degree in the relevant direction of computer technologies. A special focus of the study program is the application of artificial intelligent systems and nanotechnology in intelligent information systems.

The study program Information Systems provides general theoretical training in information systems, programming, computer network technologies, modern technologies, natural and management sciences. This study program is related to the sciences of sociology, as well as to the fields of computer modeling and scientific forecasting of various social phenomena and processes, which is necessary for the study of scientific problems and the adoption of practical management decisions. Computer modeling includes important tools and means for the study and solution of scientific problems, as well as the potential of scientific forecasting.

The main direction of the Information Systems study program is related to the development of intellectual information systems, which in turn means the creation of training computer systems, the development of object-oriented management data systems, the development of expert systems, the study of neural network self-learning computer systems in connection with the modeling of artificial intelligence functions and its practical application. Nanotechnology devices as essential elements of intellectual systems are able to effectively expand their development possibilities, including in living nature (e.g. in medicine, security systems, etc.)

A systems analyst is able to design and create practically necessary, competitive software and computer information systems, providing them with the necessary operational documentation and technical service.
