Information and communication technologies

The programme covers teaching specialized subjects at all levels of educational institutions, conducting research activities at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, sectoral research institutes, research centres, and scientific-production associations. It also includes research in fields applying mathematical methods and computer technologies, development of mathematical models of processes and objects, software development for solving applied problems, and project design and engineering activities.

Graduates of the 60610100 – Information Systems master's programme are qualified to teach courses in Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks, Algorithm Design and Analysis, Internet of Things (IoT), Systems and Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, Intelligent Hardware and Software Systems, Human–Computer Interaction, Engineering Mathematics, Statistics and Data Analysis, and Information Retrieval using modern pedagogical and information technologies. They are also qualified to conduct research at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, research institutes, and organizations operating in the field of the Internet of Things.
