About the department

In our republic, it was found that there is a shortage of engineering specialists who use and design highly qualified computing tools, and the issues of controlling, testing, and determining the reliability of devices are urgent.

As a result of the implementation of these issues, another problem is the wide penetration of electronic devices and equipment into the economy of the Republic, the fact that they are actively used in the technological processes of production, which led to the need to develop the field of "Instrumentation". For this reason, since 2000, the department "Instrumental engineering" was established, and on the basis of this field, bachelor and master's degree specialists were trained, and the department was named "Instrumental engineering".

  In the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of February 26, 2003 "On measures to further reform the health care system", one of the important tasks is medical equipment for providing special highly qualified medical services at the level of the achievements of developed countries. and devices must be constantly updated and improved, and in the decree of December 15, 2004 on organizational measures to form the "Year of Health" state program, "Modern diagnosis and treatment at Tashkent State Technical University organization of training of special personnel who can work in medical equipment and provide technical and software services to them" was emphasized.

It should also be noted that in the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of September 19, 2007 "On the main directions of the implementation of the state program for further deepening the reform of the health care system and its development", modern diagnostics and treatment equipped with equipment, provided with the potential of highly qualified personnel and providing specialized high-tech medical care; It is planned to radically improve the medical diagnostic system, to develop a wide network of diagnostic services equipped with modern, international standard equipment and staffed by highly qualified specialists in the territory of the republic.

For this reason, on the one hand, the department created an opportunity to design and manufacture modern electronic equipment based on computer technology, on the other hand, to conduct scientific research and research on the creation of modern medical equipment and technology, and to train talented mature specialists.
