Cybersecurity Engineering: Network and System Security (60612100)
As digital systems and networks become the backbone of modern society, the threats targeting them continue to grow in scale and sophistication. The Cybersecurity Engineering: Network and System Security program aims to produce engineers and specialists capable of protecting the infrastructure of the digital world.
This program combines core engineering principles with specialized knowledge in cybersecurity, developing the skills required to design, implement, and secure network systems. Students gain a deep understanding of how to build resilient systems, assess vulnerabilities, and respond to emerging cyber threats. The curriculum balances theory with hands-on practice, ensuring that graduates are fully prepared to address real-world security challenges in enterprise, critical infrastructure, and cloud environments.
Through study, practical laboratory work, and engagement with the field, students develop the skills needed to protect infrastructure ranging from industrial control systems to global communication networks — and to become the next generation of leading cybersecurity professionals.
