Art studies (musicology)

The main goal of this discipline is to familiarize students studying in the fields of "art history" and education ("History and Criticism of Music," "Theory of Music," "History of Uzbek Music") with the main criteria, history, and theoretical aspects of the specialty of art history (musicology), the advanced innovative pedagogical technologies of our time, and to provide general concepts and an understanding of the fields. Based on the tasks set for the subject, students must have a clear understanding of the directions (various genres and types, past and present) through the direct study of written examples, scientific works, research, and articles; based on the analysis of live observations (instrumental, vocal, chamber, symphonic concert programs), they study and express their thoughts in writing.
