About the programme

This bachelor’s program is designed to equip students with theoretical and practical foundations in arts journalism. The curriculum includes key elements and genres of the arts, the history and development of Uzbek and world art, and current trends in arts journalism with an emphasis on their practical application. The program focuses on both methodological and creative approaches to scholarly and artistic analysis.

  • Duration: 7 semesters (4 years)

  • Total Credits: 240

  • Classroom Hours: 3030 hours

  • Internship Hours: 450 hours

  • Final Project/Thesis: 240 hours

Notes:

  • 1 credit equals 30 academic hours

  • GPA is calculated in the third week of August

  • The “Arts Journalism” course is taught in 7 modules

  • According to the curriculum, the volume of course blocks may be adjusted by up to 5%, and individual course loads by up to 10%, while maintaining total classroom hours

  • Some modules are delivered individually

  • Practical and lab sessions are held in higher education institutions and partner organizations

  • The final thesis is part of the final state certification
