UrSU scientists participate in an international renewable energy project
UrSU researchers led by Associate Professor K.Yakubov are conducting practical experiments on next-generation perovskite solar cells and supercapacitors at Ege University's Solar Energy Institute in Turkey.
Under the Uzbek-Turkish international project No. AL-9825036033, funded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of Uzbekistan, Urgench State University scientists are conducting advanced research in renewable energy. Led by Associate Professor K.Yakubov, the team is working at Ege University's Solar Energy Research Institute to develop new-generation hybrid perovskite solar cells. Initial theoretical modeling using VASP and DFT calculations was conducted on UrSU's central servers, and current research focuses on integrating supercapacitors into hybrid perovskite systems.
