Representatives from Hatay Province (Turkey) Visit Khorezm
Following the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, nearly 160 guests from Hatay province arrived in Khorezm to celebrate Navruz and explore historical landmarks.
In line with the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his official visit to Turkey in January, nearly 160 representatives from the Hatay province were invited to experience the Navruz festival in Uzbekistan. On March 23, the delegation was warmly welcomed at Urgench International Airport by the Governor of Khorezm region, Jurabek Rakhimov.
Accompanied by the Rector of Urgench State University, Feruza Madraximova, the guests participated in the festive Navruz celebrations held at the Urgench State Pedagogical Institute. Later in the day, the delegation toured the "Arda Khiva" international tourism complex and the ancient monuments of the Ichan-Kala fortress in Khiva. This visit highlights the deep fraternal ties and the strengthening cultural cooperation between the two nations.
