Negotiations Held with Daegu-Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST), South Korea
UrSU and South Korea's DGIST institute agreed on cooperation in Mathematics and AI, focusing on student exchange programs and Master's degree opportunities.
Representatives from the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST), one of South Korea's most prestigious scientific and technological research institutions, visited Urgench State University. The guests were welcomed by Rector Feruza Madrahimova.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed the organization of student exchange programs in the fields of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence. The Korean experts proposed involving university graduates in scientific and practical internships and invited promising youth to pursue Master's degrees at DGIST. As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to sign a formal cooperation agreement to systematically develop bilateral relations between the two institutions.
