The attention paid by our state to the sphere of education, the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan encourages masters of the national dance art, experienced teachers and coaches, young artists to make a worthy history in the development of the new art of Uzbekistan. Those wishing to engage in scientific activity have the opportunity to study at the Master's program. At present, Master's training at UzDXA is carried out both on budgetary and paid-contractual basis.
The Tashkent Choreographic School was established in the city of Tashkent in 1947 on the basis of the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR № 1480 of September 14. This institution trained specialists in classical and national dances of choreographic art. Under the guidance of Usta Olim Komilov and Tamarakhanum, artists who made a great contribution to the development of Uzbek choreography were trained in the land of knowledge.
According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan № PF-1695 of January 8, 1997 “On the development of the art of national dance and choreography in Uzbekistan” and the Cabinet of Ministers № 101 of February 21, 1997, A. Kadyri. The Tashkent State National Higher School of Dance and Choreography was established on the basis of the choreography faculty of the Tashkent State Institute of Culture and the Uzbek Institute of Choreography and began training highly qualified personnel in the field of choreography.
