A psychological seminar-training was held for international students studying at the Academy.
At the International Islamic academy of Uzbekistan was organized a seminar-training for international students on February 17, 2025, within the framework of the psychological marathon program titled “My Opportunity – My World.”
At the International Islamic academy of Uzbekistan was organized a seminar-training for international students on February 17, 2025, within the framework of the psychological marathon program titled “My Opportunity – My World.” The event was attended by the Academy’s psychologist Z. Kurbamuratova and the Head of the Department for Work with International Students, U. Qodirov.
During the seminar, the Academy’s psychologist Z. Kurbamuratova conducted a survey to study the adaptation of international students to the new environment from both academic and psychological perspectives. Based on the survey results, ways to address identified issues were discussed and appropriate recommendations were provided.
As part of the event, a training session titled “What Is Valuable to Me” was also held, aimed at improving adaptation and intercultural exchange among international students, as well as preventing emotional burnout.
The purpose of organizing these events is to safeguard the mental well-being of the Academy’s international students, develop their modern life skills, and strengthen the principles of solidarity and mutual respect within the community by creating an inclusive and friendly environment.
