70710401-Environmental Science (by industries and sectors) program covers the increase and decrease of flora and fauna in the landscapes and ecosystems of Central Asia, as well as changes and predictions of human activities in natural landscapes, morphological parts of the landscape and their study of the relationship between the main types of landscapes on the planet, the study of natural landscape zones, soil erosion types and problems, erosion control measures, erosion assessment methods, soil and water erosion mitigation measures and modeling of various erosion processes, the growing global demand for water integrated methods of water resources due to the drying up of surface and groundwater sources, as well as their pollution, loss of biodiversity, drought, floods and other anthropogenic impacts. Areas of professional activity: Higher, advanced training and retraining, secondary special, vocational education institutions, the Center of Hydrometeorological Service, the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on ecology and environmental protection, the State Committee for Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre Committee, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its subordinate organizations, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and sectoral research institutes on water resources.
