The next on-site reception was held.
Today, the Faculty of Foreign Philology hosted the next off-site reception of Rector Dilnoza Khodjayeva. Students had the opportunity to ask questions on various topics directly. At the beginning of the reception, the rector spoke about the reforms in the higher education system in our country in recent years, efforts to align education with international standards, the preparation of qualified specialists, and the creation of all conditions for students to receive quality education and realize their potential.
Subsequently, students made several proposals and comments related to addressing existing issues and academic matters. Notably, the main topics of inquiries included participation in international conferences, studying at foreign universities under academic exchange programs, learning additional foreign languages, and questions about the HEMIS information system.
During the meeting, students' opinions on these suggestions and certain issues were heard, and most of them were positively resolved on the spot. Necessary legal clarifications and recommendations were provided. The rector emphasized the importance of learning foreign languages and explained, using examples, how continuous efforts and independent study can yield significant results. It was also highlighted that students have opportunities to pursue master's degrees abroad.
