THE "NATIONAL TRADITIONS FESTIVAL" WAS ORGANIZED

Throughout the centuries, the national traditions that have been passed down to us play a crucial role in preserving and enriching our heritage. Indeed, our national traditions are considered one of the most integral components of our culture, connecting the past with the present.

Under the initiative of the students of Shahrisabz State Pedagogical Institute, a cultural and enlightening event titled the "National Traditions Festival" was held at the Amphitheater in the Amir Temur Square. The rector of the institute J. Shonazarov, the deputy mayor of Shahrisabz city A. Sultonov, staff members of the Department of Cultural and Educational Work with Youth, tutors, and students attended the event.

In his opening speech, the rector J. Shonazarov emphasized the importance of national traditions and their role in preserving and enriching our cultural heritage. As part of the festival, an exhibition of "Skilled Girls" and a showcase of "National Clothing" were organized. Students from the theater studio performed a play highlighting the activities of Abdurauf Fitrat, focusing on his advocacy for freedom, knowledge, and self-awareness.

Furthermore, the musical performances by the "Dutarchi kizlar" ensemble from the Department of Art Studies, featuring traditional melodies and songs, as well as national dances, added to the festive atmosphere, showcasing the timeless beauty and richness of our ancestral traditions and customs. The festival concluded with lively traditional dances.
