On February 5, 2026, an official meeting was held between Edward Kim, CEO of the Korean-Uzbek Business Association, and T. Teshabayev, Rector of Tashkent State University of Economics. During the meeting, issues of bringing cooperation between Tashkent State University of Economics and higher education institutions of the Republic of Korea to a new level were discussed in detail. The parties stressed the importance of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of education, science and innovation.
During the dialogue, issues of implementing joint research projects in the field of artificial intelligence, information technology, business management and economics, developing the exchange of faculty and students, as well as organizing short- and long-term internships were discussed.
