Urgench State University hosted Professor Mustafa Demirji from Selçuk University to discuss the history of Islamic civilization and bilateral academic cooperation.
Today, Feruza Madrakhimova, Rector of Urgench State University, received Professor Mustafa Demirji, Director of the "Selchuklu" Research Institute at Selçuk University (Konya, Turkey) and an expert in Medieval and Islamic Civilization. During the meeting, the participants highlighted the rich historical heritage of the Khorezm oasis and the pivotal role of its great scholars in the advancement of Islamic civilization. The discussion focused on expanding cooperation between Urgench State University and Selçuk University, exploring future joint research initiatives and academic exchange programs to further strengthen the partnership between the two institutions.
