A NEW STUDENT HOUSING WAS BUILT.
On February 17 of this year, a new 400-bed student residence was built at Shahrisabz State Pedagogical Institute. Murotjon Azimov, the mayor of Kashkadarya region, Sherzod Boriyev, the mayor of Shahrisabz city, representatives of the general public, luminaries, honorary teachers, journalists, bloggers, professors and teachers of the institute, and students attended the opening ceremony.
The event was opened by the governor of Kahkadarya region, M. Azimov, who acknowledged that the opportunities created are the result of the attention paid by the head of our country to the youth. After that, a solemn opening ceremony for the new building was held with the participation of luminaries. The participants of the event toured the building in order to familiarize themselves with the conditions in the student accommodation.
After the solemn opening ceremony, representatives of the general public, under the leadership of the governor of the region, inspected the conditions created in the student accommodation. In particular, the comfortable bedrooms, showers, kitchens, laundry rooms, libraries, and spiritual rooms were recognized by the audience.
During the event, the governor of the region got acquainted with the activities of the newly commissioned Information Resource Center and held a meeting with talented students. During the sincere conversation, he listened to the interests, aspirations, suggestions, and initiatives of the young people. He noted that science is the basis of all success and expressed his support for the proposals and initiatives of young people. He gave the necessary assignments to the officials regarding the students' projects to be submitted for practice.
