A new stage of cooperation: The Tashkent branch and MAK FOOD SERVIS LLC signed an agreement
A signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement in educational, scientific, technical, and innovative activities with an industrial partner, MAK FOOD SERVIS LLC, was held at the Tashkent branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. This agreement marks a logical step in a fruitful collaboration aimed at strengthening the relationship between the university and the real economy.
"It's crucial for us that students not only gain fundamental theoretical knowledge but also have the opportunity to become familiar with industry best practices. During the initial phase, the branch established and successfully operates a specialized EVOS auditorium—a modern venue for lectures, meetings with leading experts, and the implementation of research and educational projects. I am confident that this agreement will allow our students to further explore modern restaurant business technologies, acquire sought-after professional competencies, and gain additional opportunities for successful career development. Collaboration with industrial partners opens up new prospects for the implementation of innovative projects and the training of specialists who meet the demands of the modern economy," noted Kalandar Abdurakhmanov, head of the Tashkent branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Under the signed agreement, the parties plan to exchange professional information and experience, develop and implement joint educational and scientific programs. Particular attention will be paid to involving representatives of the industrial partner in the educational process, creating conditions for students to deepen their theoretical knowledge and acquire practical skills through internships.
Joint seminars, exhibitions, and other events aimed at developing scientific, technical, and innovative activities are planned, as well as the participation of students and staff in joint technical and innovative projects.
An important area of collaboration will be the participation of representatives from the university and MAK FOOD SERVIS LLC in joint expert, advisory, and project groups, whose activities will facilitate the implementation of promising initiatives.
The signing marks another step in strengthening the partnership between the Tashkent branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and leading business representatives and confirms the university's commitment to developing an effective model for interaction between education, science, and industry.
