In the 1st year, all subjects provided for in the curriculum are taught in Uzbek and Russian.
In the 2nd year, all subjects provided for in the curriculum are taught in Uzbek and Russian. Qualification practice is carried out at territorial enterprises of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine JSC system.
In the 3rd year, all subjects provided for in the curriculum are taught in Uzbek and Russian. Qualification practice is carried out at territorial enterprises of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine JSC system.
In the 4th year, all subjects provided for in the curriculum are taught in Uzbek and Russian. Qualification practice is carried out at territorial enterprises of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine JSC system.
After successful completion of 4 years of study, the specialty Metallurgist is awarded.
1 credit is 30 academic hours.
The GPA is determined in the third week of August each year.
The contract amount for foreign students is set at 1,000 US dollars.
The block of elective disciplines is determined by the decision of the university council from a set of disciplines that ensure demand, flexibility and mobility of the labor market and personnel customers.
When drawing up a working curriculum based on the curriculum, it is possible to change the volume of a block of academic subjects up to 5%, the volume of subjects in blocks up to 10% while maintaining the weekly volume of student workload, as well as freely determining the volume of weekly loads in individual semesters while maintaining the total volume of the classroom load.
The terms of the final state certification also include the defense of the final qualifying work.
Practical classes and laboratory work in subjects related to the specialty included in the curriculum are conducted in higher educational institutions and basic organizations and enterprises.
To ensure the integrity of theory and practice, qualifying internships for students are conducted in basic organizations and enterprises.
Physical education and sports discipline as an elective course is organized in sports sections based on the voluntary choice of the student.
Course work is carried out on the basis of the first credit due to the hours of independent study allocated for this discipline.
