Program Description:
60610300 – Information Security (by sectors) is an undergraduate educational direction that addresses complex issues in information security within the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, sectoral research institutes, state and non-state enterprises, organizations, and governmental bodies. This program is also involved in teaching subjects related to this educational direction in middle special and vocational education institutions and covers a comprehensive range of professional areas related to complex issues in both state and non-state vocational training institutions.

Learning Outcomes of the Program:
Upon successful completion of the program, students will:

    Study and solve problems related to information security, developing and implementing appropriate measures;
    Plan resources necessary for carrying out information security-related processes;
    Design and implement information security systems for enterprises and organizations;
    Develop and utilize systems suited for the field in relevant scientific and practical activities;
    Plan and implement information security measures within the systems for transmitting, storing, and processing information using information-communication systems' tools and security devices;
    Develop methods and mechanisms for assessing the quality of software and hardware processes related to information security;
    Apply engineering and design solutions in information security in practice;
    Manage quality control in information security-related production processes;
    Develop, execute, and monitor information security work plans within primary design, technological, or production teams, and assess the results;
    Conduct theoretical and practical classes on subjects pertaining to the specialization in general secondary, vocational secondary, and vocational education institutions using modern information and pedagogical technologies;
    Master teaching methodologies and use technical tools for conducting classes;
    Participate in conducting scientific research on information security topics at scientific research institutes and centers;
    Efficiently search and find information about the latest scientific achievements on the internet;
    Study scientific collections, local and international scientific and research achievements related to information security;
    Research new scientific results, scientific literature, or scientific research projects relevant to the field of professional activity;
    Conduct experimental research on information security at scientific research institutes and centers, process, assess, and perform other professional activities related to the results;
    Have the skills to apply research results and developments in practice.
