Uzbekistan–Malaysia Forum on Empowering Women Scientists Held in Melaka
At the international forum in Melaka, UrSU Rector Feruza Madrakhimova discussed the role of women in science and presented a national gift to the Rector of UTeM.
An international forum titled "Empowering Women Scientists for Innovation and Sustainable Development: Uzbekistan – Malaysia Higher Education Cooperation" was held in Melaka, Malaysia. The event featured speeches by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia, Karomiddin Gadoev, as well as rectors and vice-rectors from both nations. They shared insights on the opportunities created for women in science and the prospects for mutual academic cooperation. At the conclusion of the forum, Feruza Madrakhimova, Rector of Urgench State University, expressed her gratitude to Massila Binti Kamalrudin, Rector of the Technical University of Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), and presented her with a traditional Uzbek national robe (chapon) as a symbol of cultural partnership.
