Sarbon universiteti – Respublikamizdagi axborot-kommunikatsiya texnologiyalari, iqtisodiyot, moliya, biznes boshqaruvi, davlat va jamiyat boshqaruvi, filologiya, tarix, psixologiya, xalqaro munosabatlar, arxitektura va muhandislik sohalarida kadrlar tayyorlovchi nufuzli nodavlat oliy ta’lim muassasalaridan biri hisoblanadi.

Universitet xalqaro standartlar asosida, xorijiy ta’lim muassasalari tajribasiga tayangan holda faoliyat yuritadi. Ta’lim jarayoni kredit-modul tizimi asosida olib borilib, mashg‘ulotlar yuqori malakali professor-o‘qituvchilar tomonidan zamonaviy texnologiyalar va ilg‘or o‘quv materiallari asosida o‘tiladi. Talabalar uchun zamonaviy o‘quv adabiyotlari va kompyuter texnikalari bilan jihozlangan axborot resurs markazi, elektron kutubxona, bookkafe, bufet va tibbiyot xonalari mavjud. Universitet binosi to‘liq WiFi bilan qamrab olingan bo‘lib, talabalar uchun internet resurslaridan foydalanish qulay sharoitda tashkil etilgan.

Faculty Mission and Objectives

The primary mission of the Faculty is to prepare highly qualified and competitive specialists through the effective use of digital technologies and modern pedagogical approaches.

The Faculty is an academic, research, and administrative unit of the University and carries out the following main functions:

To educate highly qualified specialists with advanced knowledge and practical skills in digital technologies and modern pedagogy.
To develop and implement innovative pedagogical methods, including teaching approaches based on digital technologies.
To create favorable conditions for the effective use of electronic learning platforms, distance education systems, and other digital tools.
To provide education in relevant fields of study and academic programs in accordance with modern educational standards.
To enhance students’ practical competencies, ensuring their competitiveness in the labor market.
To ensure the integrated and harmonious implementation of educational and extracurricular processes.
To prepare academic and research personnel, as well as organize professional development and retraining programs.
To coordinate the scientific research activities of the departments within the Faculty.
To establish and strengthen cooperation with enterprises and organizations through formal partnership agreements in order to promote the integration of education, science, and industry.
To establish and develop departments, laboratories, and other academic and research units related to the educational programs offered by the Faculty.

Mission of the Distance Learning Department

The primary mission of the Distance Learning Department is to provide learners with high-quality education through modern information and communication technologies regardless of geographical location, time constraints, or physical limitations, to enhance the effectiveness of the educational process, and to ensure lifelong learning. The Department also aims to implement digital pedagogical approaches and improve the quality, accessibility, and openness of education.

Functions of the Distance Learning Department

The main functions of the Department are:

to study the theoretical foundations and stages of development of distance learning;
to analyze pedagogical technologies and digital platforms used in distance education;
to identify effective methods for using interactive teaching approaches and electronic learning resources;
to develop mechanisms for assessment and monitoring of learning outcomes in distance education;
to identify the advantages and challenges of distance learning and propose solutions for their improvement;
to study the impact of distance learning on the quality and effectiveness of education.

Expected Outcomes of the Distance Learning Department

The Department is expected to achieve the following outcomes:

to produce evidence-based conclusions on the impact of distance learning on the quality of education;
to develop learners' independent learning skills;
to establish effective communication between instructors and learners in a digital learning environment;
to identify opportunities for integrating distance learning with traditional face-to-face education;
to contribute to the preparation of competitive specialists who meet the demands of the modern labor market.
