Fashion Design
About the Program
The "Fashion Design" program trains professional fashion designers, stylists, and pattern makers capable of creating relevant and commercially successful collections. The curriculum covers fashion illustration, textile science, pattern drafting and draping, garment construction technologies, and fashion history. Students develop their creative potential by working in the university's specially equipped sewing and design laboratories, creating their own capsule collections from initial sketch to finished garment.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates are highly sought after in the fashion industry, retail, and show business. Available roles include fashion designer, fashion stylist, pattern maker, creative director of a fashion brand, fashion buyer, and costume designer for film, television, and theater.
Language of Instruction
After admission, students can choose their preferred language of instruction: English, Russian, or Uzbek.
International Opportunities
The program actively integrates students into the global fashion industry. This includes participation in international young designer competitions and Fashion Weeks, as well as student mobility programs at specialized foreign design institutes. Creative internships are organized at renowned fashion houses and large-scale textile manufacturing companies.
Admission Requirements
Entrance exams are conducted in the format of creative exams (drawing, composition) or in the form of an interview.
