Advanced and innovative strategies for teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP) discussed
The Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Master's Degree and Extramural Education of Tashkent State University of Law held an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “Advanced and innovative strategies, problems and solutions for teaching English for specific purposes (ESP)”.
The conference, held in a hybrid format, was attended by teachers from prestigious universities in the USA, Great Britain, the Philippines, Webster University in Tashkent, Westminster International University in Tashkent, British Management University in Tashkent, as well as other universities of the republic, law colleges of the Ministry of Justice, and the Academic Lyceum named after M. Vosikova, representatives of ministries and departments.
The conference addressed issues of promoting the professional activities of teachers in the field of teaching English, further improving goal-oriented teaching of English, the role of artificial intelligence in the use of communicative approaches and innovative approaches to assessment, new teaching methods associated with discussions on modern educational technologies.
At the international conference, winners in 6 categories were determined and they were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
