State scholarship named after Islam Karimov.

The Islam Karimov State Scholarship is awarded and paid to students studying in the last two years under joint educational programs in state, non-state and foreign higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The following criteria are established for awarding a scholarship: excellent studies and participation in scientific (creative) work;
knowledge of languages ​​- the state language and one foreign language (except for the state languages ​​of the Commonwealth of Independent States); knowledge of one additional foreign language in special cases where the field of study at the undergraduate level is considered a foreign language;
For persons who are not citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, additional knowledge of the language of instruction is required;
Students who receive the scholarship will be awarded special certificates, which will be presented at a ceremony at the students' place of study.
