Academic cooperation between the Is’hoqxon Ibrat Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages and Japan’s National Institute of Technology (KOSEN) is steadily developing and reaching a new stage of practical collaboration.

As one of the important initiatives aimed at developing international relations, and as a result of the active efforts of Baqoyev Navro‘zjon, on February 17–18, 2026, the Head of the International Relations Department of the National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Ouchi Shinichiro, paid a visit to the Institute.

Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Institute, P. Lutfullayev. During the meeting, the parties thoroughly discussed prospects for mutual academic cooperation, opportunities for student exchange, joint educational programs, areas of scientific collaboration, and future joint projects.

The guest was also introduced to the modern educational environment created at the Institute, its innovative educational infrastructure, and the conditions provided for students. The reforms aimed at improving the quality of education at the Institute were highly appreciated by the Japanese partner.

During the visit, presentations were delivered to students about the KOSEN system, its experience in engineering education, its international programs, and scholarship opportunities. This contributed to increasing young people’s interest in international education.

Students of the JAP-AU-23 group presented reports dedicated to the Institute’s achievements, international projects, and educational opportunities. The students’ activity and initiative left a positive impression on the guest.
