60230100 – Philology and Language Teaching: Russian Language (Bachelor's Degree Program)
This program is aimed at training qualified specialists who have mastered the Russian language at an advanced level, possess in-depth knowledge in linguistics and literature, and are capable of applying modern pedagogical approaches. The program integrates theoretical knowledge with practical training to develop students' professional competencies.
During the course of study, students master disciplines such as Russian grammar, phonetics, lexicology, and stylistics; linguistics; Russian and world literature; academic writing; theory and practice of translation; intercultural communication; pedagogy; psychology; and methods of teaching foreign languages. The program also places particular emphasis on the use of modern information and communication technologies, research activity, and pedagogical practice.
Throughout their studies, students consolidate their theoretical knowledge and practical skills by undergoing pedagogical practicums in general secondary schools, academic lyceums, colleges, and other educational institutions.
Graduates may pursue careers as teachers of Russian language in general secondary schools, academic lyceums, colleges, and language centers; as translators and editors; as specialists in international organizations and government agencies; as well as in tourism, mass media, publishing, and other fields requiring advanced proficiency in the Russian language.
This field of education equips graduates with the knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies necessary for successful employment in both the national and international labor markets, as well as for continuing their education at the master's and doctoral levels.
