History

About the Program

The "History" program trains qualified historians, researchers, analysts, and educators. The curriculum covers an in-depth study of global and national history, archaeology, ethnography, source study, and historical research methodology. Students develop critical thinking and data analysis skills by working with primary sources. Practical training includes work in state archives and museums, as well as participation in archaeological and ethnographic field expeditions.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates are in demand in the fields of education, science, culture, media, and public administration. Available roles include history teacher in schools and colleges, researcher at scientific institutes, archivist, museum curator, cultural heritage expert, political and social analyst, as well as specialist in tourism and local history.

Language of Instruction

After admission, students can choose their preferred language of instruction: English, Russian, or Uzbek.

International Opportunities

The program is actively integrated into the international scientific community. Students have the opportunity to participate in student mobility programs at partner universities abroad. To exchange experiences and conduct joint research, international archaeological expeditions and research internships are organized at major foreign archives, libraries, and research centers.

Admission Requirements

Entrance exams are conducted as standardized tests in the core subject (History) or in the form of an interview.
